The Rwanda Women Parliamentary Forum welcomes you to this information portal that has been designed to bridge the digital divide between our constituents and the Rwandan Parliament. RWPF was formed to archive the following specific objective

* To promote solidarity among Rwandan Women Parliamentarians.
* To sensitize Rwandan Women Parliamentarians and provide opportunity to collaborate on all issues.
* To emphasize unity of all Rwandans, provide peace and eradicate the genocide ideology in all its forms
* To sensitize Rwandan Women Parliamentarians to adopt strategies enabling them to advocate for the elaboration and the adoption of laws and policies taking into account gender dimension.
* To sensitize the Parliamentarians and encourage them to adopt strategies that enable them to advocate for the elaboration and adoption of laws and policies, taking into account the gender dimension.
* To sensitize Rwandan Women Parliamentarians and private institutions to support activities which aim at promoting the well being of Rwandan women in general, widows and orphans the survivors of the 1994 Genocide in particular.
* To be involved in the revision and abrogation of legislation and culture based on discrimination against women and in the preparation and adoption of legislation that respects the principles of gender equality in the national development;
* To adopt suitable strategies of implementing laws and recommendations enacted in respect of women and children at the national, regional and international levels.
* To reinforce the Rwandan Women Parliamentarians capacity in order to better carry out and contribute to activities of increasing the number of women in decision making positions.
* To strengthen the partnership and relations between the Forum and various institutions through national and international networking.
* To initiate any activities that may lead to the achievement of the above mentioned objectives
